Moline Pet Boarding

At Oak Knoll Animal Hospital we will do our very best to make your pet’s stay with us a happy and comfortable experience. We will take care of your pet and their needs as if they were on our own. Our staff is trained to care for your pet and to report any problems to the attending doctors.

Even with the best care, boarding can be stressful because your pet is in a new environment and their routines and habits are interrupted. Our expert staff is attentive, using proper handling and strict cleanliness. As a hospital, we want to make sure your pets are protected from patients we treat on a daily basis. Despite all precautions we take, spread of disease can still be a risk. For this reason, we require that all boarding patients be current on a number of vaccinations, as well protected against fleas and ticks and free of intestinal parasites.

Our caregivers will build a patient profile to help make your pet’s stay more enjoyable. They monitor behaviors ad will alert a doctor on site if they have concerns of decreased appetite, loose stools, vomiting, etc. If problems persist, a doctor will examine your pet at the cost of a physical exam. If the doctor feels that treatment is necessary, we will contact you to authorize these treatments. If we are unable to contact you, and the doctor feels there are serious problems, your pet will be treated and normal fees will be charged. It is very important that you leave a contact number so we can reach you in an emergency or pre-approve any potential treatments.
